Terms of Service

1. The service

HIRED-OS provides AI-assisted tools for job searching: resume tailoring, cover-letter drafting, outreach drafting, interview preparation, story extraction, mock interviews, and related workflows. The service is available at hired-os.com.

2. Eligibility & accounts

You must be 18 years or older to create an account. You are responsible for the security of your credentials and for any activity under your account.

3. Your content

You retain ownership of every resume, story, job description, or other content you upload. You grant us a limited license to process this content as required to run the AI features you request (e.g., sending text to Anthropic's Claude API to produce a tailored resume). This license ends when you delete the content.

You must own or have permission to use any content you upload. Don't upload third-party material you don't have rights to, and don't upload content that is illegal, harmful, or designed to mislead.

4. AI outputs are drafts

Every output produced by the AI — resumes, cover letters, outreach messages, interview answers — is a draft for you to review and edit before sending or submitting anywhere. We do not autonomously send messages or submit applications on your behalf. You are responsible for what you ultimately send. AI outputs may contain factual errors, awkward phrasing, or unintended implications; review them before use.

5. Acceptable use

• Don't use the service to harass, defame, or impersonate.
• Don't attempt to extract other users' data or bypass account isolation.
• Don't abuse the API quotas, run automated scraping against the service, or attempt to overload the infrastructure.
• Don't use the service to generate content that violates third-party policies (e.g., job-board ToS, Anthropic's usage policies).

6. Third-party services

HIRED-OS depends on third-party services including Clerk (authentication), Anthropic (AI inference), Voyage AI (embeddings), and optionally Google (Gmail/Calendar integration). These services have their own terms; your use of HIRED-OS is subject to them where relevant.

7. Service availability

We do our best to keep the service running, but we make no uptime guarantees. The service may be unavailable for maintenance or due to upstream outages. We may add, change, or remove features at any time.

8. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. We do not warrant that AI outputs are accurate, complete, or fit for any particular purpose, including landing a job. You assume the risk of relying on AI outputs.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or US$100, whichever is greater.

10. Termination

You can stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with or without notice when the violation is severe.

11. Changes

We may update these terms as the service evolves. Material changes will be announced in the app, and the “Last updated” date above will change.
